Disabled Veterans for Medical Marijuana is an organization dedicated to empowering vets to take control of their medical treatment. I am a disabled vet who served in the United States Army. I have seen first hand the short comings of our treatment for injuried veterans. I am tired of seeing my fellow soldiers who once had the confidence and vitality to accomplish anything, see their quality of life diminish because of perscription side effects ,or worse, become addicted to perscription drugs. The research that backs marijuana as a valid treatment for a wide array of injuries, diseases and conditions is solid and vast. The research against it is flawed and pharmacutically funded. I urge all of you, my fellow soldiers, to stop being manipulated by a broken and biased medical system and stand up for yourself and your health. Marijuana can help many of you reduce or quit your use of pharmacutical drugs, with little or no side affects. I am a Veteran and I will do what is right by my fellow veterans. I encourage you to take the Motivation that lies within you and bring it out, like you have so many times before! Our Motivation, our Objective, our Mission is becoming a healthier you!
